Lens Care

Care for every look

Colored contact lenses require clean handling and proper care. Always follow the instructions supplied with your lenses and the advice of a qualified eye-care professional.

Before handling your lenses

  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, then dry them with a clean, lint-free towel.
  • Keep fingernails clean and handle lenses gently with your fingertips.
  • Check that each lens is clean, intact, and facing the correct way before insertion.

Cleaning and storing

  • Use only fresh contact-lens solution recommended for your lens type.
  • Never clean or store lenses in tap water, bottled water, saliva, or previously used solution.
  • Clean and air-dry the lens case after use, and replace it regularly.
  • Store reusable lenses fully covered in fresh solution and follow the replacement schedule provided with them.
  • Do not reuse single-use lenses.

While wearing your lenses

  • Do not share lenses with anyone.
  • Do not sleep, swim, or shower while wearing lenses unless their instructions specifically permit it.
  • Insert lenses before applying makeup and remove them before taking makeup off.
  • Keep lenses away from aerosols, creams, and cosmetics.
  • Follow the recommended daily wearing time and replacement schedule. Do not wear lenses beyond either limit.

When to remove them

Remove the lenses if they feel uncomfortable or if you notice irritation, redness, pain, or a change in vision. Do not put them back in. Seek advice from a qualified eye-care professional if symptoms continue or concern you.
